Polar Express
One word to describe the night MAGICAL! I have been wanting to do this for some time now and when I found out that we would be staying home for Thanksgiving I booked our tickets. It was so perfect the boys loved every minute of it. They loved the hot chocolate, and cookies for Mrs Claus. They sang songs and couldn't wait until Santa came on bored. I would highly recommend this to everyone. I walked away beleiving in Santa and filled with the Chirstmas Spirit.
My First Thanksgiving Dinner
I had the great pleasure of cooking My frist Thanksgiving dinner. I was so stressed that I would have a dried turkey or one that was still frozen or just plane gross that I didn't sleep the night before. But I have to say I TOTALLY ROCKED! My Turkey was so moist, it was done and tasted good too. The rest of the dinner prep. was easy for I stuck with stuff my Family will eat. I have to say that I am no longer afraid of the big bad bird.

New Moon
YES I went and watched it. I didn't go opening night for the midnight showing for the fact it was midnight I don't like anything after 9. I did go Saturday with a bunch of friends, we went to dinner first and then stood in line for an hour waiting to get our seats, but it was worth it. I loved the show and yes everyone screamed when topless hunks were on the screen. It was a very fun night and now I have to wait until June for the next movie.
The Nutcracker Ballet
Dallen has had a lot of fun this week. To start it off He went with his Dad to a Jazz Game on Wed. night the 18th. They rode the front runner down to SLC to see the game and even if they were in the nose bleed section they had a lot of fun. He loved the fact everyone was throwing paper airplanes and it didn't hurt that the Jazz won.
The next night I was able to take Dallen to his First Ballet The Nutcracker. I have a friend who's daughter was one of the Angels Little Miss Brittany. Dallen knows Brittany and is friends with her brother, so he was excited to see her in the Ballet. I was actually very in pressed with Dallen, he understood what was happening and we had to wait until the very end to leave. I asked him at one time if he knows what was happening and he looked at me and said "Yeah Mom I have read the Book." I said the whole thing and he said "Well it would have been dumb to not finish it." He is still a little boy when I ask what his favorite party was and he said that when the Nutcracker Prince fought the evil King Mouse and won. He also loved the buffoons because the did back flips across the stage. I am just glad he was able to come with me on the date. I think just being with him and him enjoying himself was a mothers dream.
He did let me know that the Jazz game was still more fun!
Adams Canyon
On Nov. 8Th we had a stake conference at church which I will admit that we skipped. We have be trying to get up to do this hike for almost a year now and we found the perfect day. It was Nov. and in the shade a little cold but what a fun hike for the boys. It is up hill the whole time but well worth it. The boys loved having to climb under and over trees that have fallen down and over big rocks. I am so glad that we made it all the way to the last falls and we plan to go again in the spring.
