Ok so one of the many reasons I love the snow is for skiing. I just wish I had more money to ski more, I love it. This year we put Corbin in Ski school for the first time it was fun to watch him. This is Dallen's second year and he is awesome. I got to ski with him for the last part of the day and he has improved so much more this year. I can't wait to go again with him. The weather was almost perfect. The sun was shinning and no wind. But the high was only about 10, so a little cold. Thank you Dad and Mom for the fun time.

We spent Christmas at my folks house in Panguitch. It was cold the whole time we were there and I mean -18 in the mornings burr. We had a lot of fun and I love seeing my Brothers and sister-in laws which both announced they are going to have a baby. We are all very excited about the news. Christmas was great and we all got what we ask for we were very blessed.

ZOO LIGHTS
Mark's Family party was scheduled for last Friday night but got cancelled due to the fact his Grandpa is in the Hospital. So since we had planned to be in Salt Lake we decided to take in the Zoo. It was a lot of fun with a ton of Lights. The boys got these glasses that make you see snowman on all the lights. That made it even more fun.

Contractor killed in industrial accident
October 29th, 2008 @ 4:29pm
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Kennecott Utah Copper Corp. says a 3,000-pound pipe crushed a truck driver to death at the company's tailings impoundment.
The company says William L. Kay, 81, was preparing to unload pipes Wednesday when one fell on him.
Kay's body was discovered by another contractor who was in a forklift to unload the pipes.
The impoundment collects ore waste from the production of copper.
Salt Lake County sheriff's Lt. Paul Jaroscak says his office referred the investigation to the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration.

a little EARLY
So I just changed my blog and yes it is a little early for Christmas, but it is all in who you ask. If you know me I think about Christmas year round, I LOVE IT. I start getting black Friday Ads in Sep and planing my Christmas present in July. I start playing Christmas music right after Halloween. But I still like Thanksgiving and I love the Decorations for it so I don't decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. But I probably already have your Christmas Gift.

Tagged
I was tagged to pull my 4Th picture form my 4Th folder and tell all about it so this is what I found. It is one no one has seen.
This is Corbin and his friend Eli. I watch Eli and his brother and sister on Thursdays. I sent them out to play out side while I was making lunch. I knew they were playing with water and I thought it was OK. I went out to get them for lunch and this is what I found. Being a good mom I took picture of it and then dump the water out for safety reasons and set up the pool.
I now tag Michelle, Larisa, and Erin so go look in your folder and tell us what you find.
Halloween
OK so I am a little behind and I am warning you now that I am going to be posting a lot today. First Halloween Pictures. We took the boys to a pumpkin patch and corn maze they loved it. Two nights later we went to the Dinosaur park to Trick or Treat and turned around and the next day went to Boo at the Zoo. The next week we helped with the fall carnival at the church and finished with a hunted house and Trunk and Treat. It was a very busy two weeks.

Snakes,Spiders, and Lizards that's what little boys are made of...
This is what I get when all I have is Boys. They Loved this part of the Fair. We had to go back many times. Dallen has informed me that he would like a lizard and a turtle. I said don't tell Grandma or we might get it. She loves to get and give animals to her Grandkids. I said as long as I don't have to take care of them (You all know that I will).

What is on your TV?
Horse Show
So after my very busy weeks I was not going to do the horse Show on last Sat. My mom called on Thur. and ask what time to be here so she can help. I thought about it and decided to just bite the bullet and do it. So my very wonderful mom came up on Friday to help me. We took the boys down to the area to practice. My mom thought Dallen had to Gallup the horse so she was working with Dallen to Gallup and got the horse galloping which meant Dallen ended up in the dirt in the middle of the area. I was watching and it was all in slow motion Dallen half off holding on to the saddle then on the side and finally on the ground. He got pretty scraped up all the way down his chest and on his face. But he got back on and rode.
The next day we went to the arena after giving both horses baths and trimming them up, making sure I had all the equipment for both horses and boys we made it there. We got them all ready and Dallen after the Fall the night before was scared we had to talk him into everything he did. We did the lead line with both boys and Corbin loved it. Then Dallen did walk trot by himself and did really well. We told him to follow this kid and he did completely. He Did really well for his first time and placed fourth. He was really happy.
What we have been up to
OK so after Trek I have been in a whirl wind of activity. To start with Mark and I had to go down and pick up the Boys from my parents. Which was on the 24th of July and we were in the parade there. My mom had this cute little float and the boys loved it and had fun sitting and waving. Mark walk with my Parents and I got to Drive. We got back late the night and I went to work the next day.
We then took the boys to Lagoon on Sat.

We found out that just because you get in cheap does not mean that you should go. After lunch we had an 45 min to an hour in all lines. It was nuts.
Well after that week we went camping with Marks family. We decide to go up the night before everyone else. Well I told Marks sister and the whole family decided the same thing. But we had fun playing in the water and hiking.

Trek Update
I loved it and would do it again in a heart beat. I can not believe how much fun I had all my stress was for nothing.
Our first day it was overcast, a little bit of rain and a lot of wind. The wind blew all night long and at 2:30 in the morning I thought, what did I get myself into? My tent was laying flat on us and I needed to be up at 6:00 to get food for breakfast. It was at this time I realized what I am complaining about? I at least have food, the pioneers got 12oz of flour. I fell asleep right after that.
The next day we walk to Martin's Cove and you could feel the spirit as you walk around this corner. It felt like someone shut the door on you. I wanted to turn around a walk back in.It was great.
Now the Third day was the best. We were at the Willy center and Rocky Ridge. We start and the men got called to war and the women had to pull the handcarts by ourselves. It was straight up a hill and I didn't think it was that hard. Now if you ask the men the say they struggled just to walk up it. But the best part was when we reached the top and you saw all the men standing there with their hats off and hands over their hearts you could just feel the love and respect that they had for us.
We finished the women’s pull and went on to cross the sweet water river. The first time was silent and very special. The Third time we crossed our company got ambushed by the Purple company and we were all wet. We stayed and ambushed the two remaining companies it was a lot of fun. There is so much more to trek, this was just some of the highlights.

TREK
9 days and counting. I am getting scared for the fact I don't know what to plan for. Yes they gave me a checklist which I have already packed everything on it, but if you know me you know I like to be prepared. I went to church today and talked to one of the stake leaders and she starts asking me all of these question for trek and I say "I don't know, I am supposed to have my own tent and dutch oven." Apparently my ma and pa are supposed to have gotten a hold of me and they haven't. All I know is that on next wed. at 4:00 am I am meeting at the stake center with all of my stuff.
The other thing with Trek is that My mom thinks that I will look like a Gypsie so to show you all I don't look like a Gypsie I look like a Hill Billie. And I know you all want one of these outfits. I will help make them as soon as I get back.

Yes this is what I will be in for 4 days outside walking in the middle of July. Can we all say that I am going to be HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
