I don't know about you gals but sometime I don't get all of my Super Saturday stuff done. This is on of those projects. It was going to be a family sign well in my new house it didn't fit so I change it. I paint the blocks Black

Cut out some fun Scrapbook paper .

Mod Podge it on

Cut out some Vinyl letters and New sign.
I am thinking that on the other side to say Thanks. That way I can have it up from now until Thanksgiving.

Dallen's room #2

He needs a place to put everything he builds. (All the Lego's are on the floor in the front room).

I love how his room turned out and I know he does.

Dallen's New room

I have a boy in love with Lego's. When we moved all he said is that his new better be a Lego room. So this is my take on a Lego Room.

This is the door going into his room.

I framed some of the Lego instruction that I am always throwing away.
The people before us had the nails up there and I didn't want to make more holes in the wall so I came up with this.

Halloween Craft

I found this idea over at Crafts & sutch and knew I had to try to make it.

I went up to the nearest store and found out that I was not paying $5.oo for the moss and $2.00 for the sign and the wreath was another $5.00. How can I make this under $5.oo for everything?
Then I found the Thrift store in town (scary), But it worked. The wreath was $1.00 I can pull all that stuff off. The moss was in a container and I asked just for the moss it was .25. The sign was for .15. I came home so excited.

I pulled out my glue gun (OK it was never put away from the curtains) and glued all the moss to the wreath.

I painted the sign and then add some vinyl. Found some spiders in my Halloween stuff. Glued it all on.

I love it. I don't think it will be staying at my house. The plan was for a friends b-day coming up. She loves Halloween and this would be prefect at her house. I hope she likes it?

Window Mistreatment

Dallen's Room needed a curtain and I didn't want to sew. So I stopped at DI and found this material that would fit in his room. I pulled down the front of the blinds and went to work.

With the help of the glue gun I glued the material right to the back of the board. I even kept the fold in it so I wouldn't have to hem the bottom.

I love how it turned out. I have been reading about window Mistreatment in blog land and gave it a try. This is the first window done now many more to come.

Every Friday it is called Feature yourself Friday and over a hundred people post on her blog. You get a little bit of everything. It gives me so many craft ideas I am then running around grabbing all the supplies. I get some decorating ideas too. Love this blog!

Calf Creek Falls #2

This water is so cold but you couldn't tell by the way all the kids played in it.

This is just rock that the boys found they could slide down. I was so sure they would have holes in there pants.

After playing in the water we hike back out. In the end it was 6 mile round trip.

We then spent the next day at Bryce showing them how pretty it was. We also took in a horse ride. Dawn her daughter and I went on a horse ride while Mark and Nate killed a Chicken. This is what Nate was looking forward doing. It was a fun weekend.

Calf Creek Falls

For Labor Day weekend we took some friends down to Panguitch to do some hiking. Nate ,Dawn, and their cute Little kids were such a good sport. This is what we look like starting on the hike. We started out thinking it was 6 miles round trip with about 32 marks.

Half way up we found out that it was only 3 miles round trip with only 15 marks. This made Dawns day because we were standing at marker 9 and she had her 2 year old on her back.

This is what the end of the hike looks like.
