Master Bedroom
I have been working really hard on this room and it is almost finished. This was the 1 room I knew I was going to change and well so did everyone else. It was all white. White floor, White walls, White Light, and White bedding I am so not a white person. When we moved we got a new bedroom set. We went from a queen to a king. This is the new bedroom set that I pick up one day while Mark was at work. I found this comforter and fell in love with the colors. I tried for weeks to match the paint and at one time I had 6 different colors on the wall. I finally settled on a color and painted the room. After I was done it was to soft and didn't really work with the rest of the house. So I decided to do the ragged off effect or as Mark calls it make the wall look dirty. I mixed and matched many different colors to get the look I wanted. Then again I had many spots on my walls. I finally settled on a color and I love how it turned out. Well then I put every thing back in my room and I then hated the trim work. The trim was light pine and didn't match my bed. My mom asked me if all the different colors of wood bothered me and I said no. Well once she said that all the different colors of wood did. So then again I started taping to stain the wood. Staining was very messy and is where the almost finished part comes in. I Didn't like the light and I thought the old owners where taking it with them just to find it still in the house when we moved in. So Mark put up the new fan and light which I thinks ties the whole room together. The only thing left is where the TV sits I don't like that and Mark has hit is head twice. I think we should just demo it but Mark dosen't want to. I guess we will see who wins this battle.

Balloon Festival
4 post today sorry for so many.
My parents have tried to get me down to the balloon festival for a couple of years now and I finally made it. After camping we came home in time to wake up a watch the balloons go up. Where we parked was where they did a target drop with the sand bombs. We were so close to many of the Balloons it was great. Then that night they close down main street in Panguitch for the Balloon glow. You walk up a down main street with everyone else watching the balloons getting ready to go up. The Balloon people let many people standing around help them put it up and take it down. I already put it on my calendar for next year. If anyone wants to make the trip it is worth it.

Decker Family Week
We got home form camp with the Borg's in time to wash all the clothes and repack. I took the boys down to Panguitch on Monday for a whole week. We got there in time to help finish putting up a round corral and to pack for camping. We took off camping on Wed. above Panguitch Lake. The kids tye-dyed some shirts so they all matched and we even tye-dyed Denvers (who is 13) Toes. The Kids spent most of the time in the water. We rode horses and then again just relaxed. Larisa made all the meals the whole time in down there. She is a great cook and has the menu planned for the whole month. I found out that Corbin is a better horseman then I thought. He was riding and the horse got scared and jumped and started to run. Corbin kept his cool and said whoa and pulled the horse to a stop. No screaming or crying. He then look at me with big tears in his eyes. My mom and I told what a great job he did and he then walk around with a big head. He also wanted to jump a horse over logs. So my moms horse jumps everything so I put Corbin on and let him jump. He was in heaven. We had a fun camping trip.
Borg Camp out
The Day after Corbin's Birthday we loaded into the truck and went camping for the weekend. We went up to Kelly island in Idaho to camp with Mark's Family. We spent the day riding 4 wheelers and making Ice Cream. Marks dad joined us at night and we called this trip his fathers day gift. It was nice a relaxing. Marks brother cooked all the meals and he was fantastic.
Corbin's B-day
This was such a fun day. We started the morning off by driving down to Layton to go the Classic Fun Fenter with some great friends. Corbin invited Autumn, Ben, Eli, Owen and Dallen invited Josh and Drew. They spent over 2 hours playing around while I got to chat with the moms. I then took Corbin out for lunch then home for cake and Ice Cream. The day turn out to be a very stormy day and their Baseball games got cancelled at the last minute. So we spent the rest of the night playing games with Corbin and have fun. What a Great Birthday!

Happy Birthday
Today Corbo is 6. We love having Corbin in the family. He is such an easy going kid with the humor to go along. He is always moving and doing things to make us laugh. He is very smart and is a step ahead of us most of the time. He loves stuffed animals and real ones (still waiting to get a real bunny). He loves any red blanket we can find. Corbin loves his sleep. When he is sleepy he will tell you he is cold, you give him a blanket and he is out cold. He loves to be outside, on the tramp, riding his bike, playing with friends. When we can't find him he is most of the time standing on the neighbors deck talk to his little friends through their screen door. Happy B-day Corbo!

Here Comes the Train
Yesterday I invited a great Friend to come and ride the train with us. Dallen and Matt have been friends for years and so have the moms.
We got on in Brigham City and rode out to Crystal hot springs and back. We even got a safety lesson too. Then Michelle followed me up to see my house. Matt stayed and play with Dallen a little longer while she ran to Logan. It was a fun day with great Friends.

Puffy Paint
I found this puffy paint on another blog and tried it out. As you can tell the boys loved it. To make it you put Shaving Cream-White School Glue-Food Coloring together. I sprayed some shaving cream then added about 2 tbs of glue then food coloring (no exact recipe).
Science Camp
1st week out of School and Dallen spent his at Science camp. Here is a run down of everything he did for the week:
Monday: Made the Shirt and Crystal candy
Tuesday: Made a water rocket and blew them up
Wednesday: made Ice Cream many different ways
Thursday: Made slime, putty and blew more things up.
Friday: turned a copper penny into a gold one.
He had a blast and loved every minute of it. He has already told me that he is going to do it again next year. Now what to do for the rest of the summer?

New Barn
I am so Excited about our new barn. Mark and I went down to Cedar City over Memorial Day weekend and bought this barn. Mark, My dad and I took down this barn in a wind storm last friday. We realized then that it will take more then just Mark and I to put it back up. It has been sitting on a trailer in front of our house since Monday. We called our new ward and asked for help. So Saturaday night the guys started to show up. We had 8 guys and one backhoe help out. It was so nice and it went up pretty fast. Well then most of the guys left and we said we could put the roof on ourselfs. The next thing we knew a whole new group of guys showed up to help with the roof and finish it up. We live in such a great ward up here. When we moved we asked for help and 1 guys showed up and he was new to the ward. I just can't believe how willing everyone is to help each other. I see it almost everyday up here. It as been such a stress knowing that this barn had to get up this week, because the trailer was due back. Now to see it up and all I did was supply the water was great. I feel like we are finally moved in.

Dallen's Award
I posted Corbin's award and now it is Dallens turn. Yesterday was Dallen's award ceremony and we knew he was getting an award. So I was there at 1:30 and the First awards given out was for kids who have not missed a day and have not been tardy. Dallens got this award with about 5 other kids in the school. So Corbin and I sat there and waited for more awards to be given out. About 45 min. later I told Corbin that must have been the award and we will leave. Just then they started to give out awards for School Scholar and Dallen's name was called. His award was for being a super speller. He has got 100% on all spelling test. Way to go Dallen. We are proud of Dallen and he works really hard to get 100 on all test. So now we were really ready to leave and then they start with the PRO (Positive Responible Operator) Bucks. These look like money and any one at the school hands can out. We now have been at the School for almost 2 hour. They then draw Dallen's name out of a box. He is given a Bag of Malt-O-Meal Cereal. So Dallen walk away with 3 awards. Way to end the school year. I love Dallen and he is a great kid.

Honesty
Dallen got some money from a yard sale we had over the weekend. On Monday after unloading the truck there was money on the bar and it was the same amount as Dallen had made. So I ask Dallen where his money was and if this was his. Dallen said the money was his and he took it. Well yesterday he finally unloaded his suitcase and found his money. Last night Dallen brought back up the other money and told us it was not his. He had found his money and this must be ours. I was so proud of the fact he did not keep the money. We did not know until he told us that he had even found his money. He as been wanting a new toy for along time now and with both piles of money he would have had enough to buy it. This is when being a mom pays off.

Grandpa's New Toy
For Memorial weekend we went down to Panguitch. Mark and I bought a barn for the horses in Cedar City. So in the wind we (plus my dad) took down a barn. We now have it home and need to put it up. Back to the toy, My mom bought this go-kart for my dad for his birthday. We took the boys around the track that my dad has made a couple of times and then Mark let Dallen drive. After that my dad let Dallen up and down the road and through some mud. Dallen loved every minute of it. He finally talk me into letting him drive me. It is so scary when you realized that your life is in the hands of a 8 year old. He drives it very well, so we let him take Corbin around the track. They had a blast. It is one fun toy.
Fun things to do!
We have had some fun exploring the new area. We have gone to the Golden Spike, ATK Rocket display and Wild life bird refuge. It is fun to see all the new place to play. We did all this in one day and it was to much, but all FREE! I love free things to do with the boys.
Corbin's Award
Corbin was awarded a citizenship award at school. His award was for showing responsibility. We are Proud of Corbin!
