Christmas Home Decor.

I still do not have a fire place at my new house so this is what I made.
I had always put the stockings up with the command strips but this year wanted something different.

I made this on Black Friday. It took me a couple of minutes and one trip to Hobby lobby. Some of you might have all this at your house to throw one together for you.
I LOVE IT.

Love that I have chandeliers to decorate. I decided one with red and gold. The other one is red and silver.

Sofa Table

Since I moved into my new House I have wanted a sofa table in my entry way. I am kind of picky with things 1st I didn't want to spend a lot of money. It needed to be Black or cheap enough that I could paint it and not feel bad. The Height was a big problem I wanted it taller than most sofa Table. So I have been on KSL a lot looking and I found this. It was for $20.00 Loved the price. Mark went and looked at and bought it.
When I first saw it I thought UGLY and way to short! (What was he thinking?)

For the Short problem I was off the Home Depot. I found some cute block legs. It would give me 2 more inches and look natural.

I had to sand this project because of the finish the paint kept coming off. I did use Spray Paint. It worked great.

The finished project Love how it turned out.

The little block legs you can't even tell.

Sunday Morning

DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM!
I know I don't have girls so I should be able to make it to Church on time. With this sweet Child I struggle every Sunday. If I don't set out his clothes he comes up in shorts and T-shirts then has a fit when made to change clothes. I set an outfit out for church and he still wears different pants, put on the sweater before the shirt and has no socks on. I should just learn my lesson and dress him myself every week. Then when will he learn? Any ideas on how to solve my problem?

Deer Hunting Weekend

I turned my camera over to my boys this weekend while Deer hunting and these are the pics. that I found. If we would have got a Deer I am sure we would have had that picture. It was cold, wet, foggy, and long. The boys hiked a few times and played in a snake hole to make it bigger. It was nice being out with my brothers and Dad again just like old times. We saw one buck ( with a spotting scope) to far away to shoot. My brothers and sister-in-law hiked up to find it and never saw it. They went back the day we left and found the same buck and shot it then.

Pumpkin Walk

At the Boy's School they do a Pumpkin walk. The teachers decide the theme for each class. Then the room parent (i.e.
ME) have to decorate the table that the classes pumpkins sit on.

Corbo's class Theme was CARS. My camera was not working so this is the 15th picture I took of him, not happy.

Big D's theme was Wizards, Witches, and Warlocks.
I have to go and set up all the pumpkins and take them down. It was a great night and I loved to see all the fun pumpkins.

Pinewood Derby

This is Big D's first pinewood derby car. He decided the design and Mark cut it. Big D had to sand and paint it. He also sat with me at the cricut to print the vinyl. He won best Paint job. He was so excited to just see it go down the track. It was a very good experience.

Dinosaur Park

The Boys love to go to the Dinosaur Park for Halloween every year. Mark always gets free kid tickets and we thought that this might be the last year (the boys are growing up). We invited the neighbors to go with us and what a fun night. They have two cute little kids that love to follow the boys around. The night was so warm and perfect. Thanks Webb's for putting up with us for the night.
