Halloween

Dallen wanted to be a JEDI for Halloween and so this is what I made for him.
P.S. Spray paint does not work on rubber boots. They are still tacky.

Corbo came to me and ask to be Link this year. Well I had know idea who Link was (I don't play video games and never have). So I went to my good friend google and found some pictures. This is what I came up with, I think it looks very much like him.
The Boys are so very excited and love to dress up.

Halloween Craft

This was yesterdays craft. With the boys home by noon yesterday we did a craft. I found these cute plates at Wallmart for 4 for a $1.00. With a little bit of black spray paint I turned them into these. The boys loved making the ghost with there hands and I have many ghost paper laying on my counter. This was a fun cute craft I can pull out every year.

Boys Bathroom

This room was just plain, but I add some fun colors for the Boys!

Love this saying I got the idea from my Sister.

Found this cute box at DI and knew it would be perfect here. My boys don't put anything away and this way they don't have to.

I have wanted to try this for a long time and I finally was brave enough to do it. I love having he boys profile framed.

Posted by Picasa I am sorry this picture will not load on the blog right. I have rotated it so many times and it still loads like this so sorry.

Another Window Mistreatment

This is my cute but plain dinning room window. I wanted something with color but not bright. I also needed it to fit in the space. I have a shelf on each side of the window.
I had some curtains that hung in my last house that I was not using in my new house yet. The panel was to big for the space so I cut the one panel and made two.

I found this material at DI loved it but it wasn't enough to do much with. I sew it together to make a tube.

Stuffed it with the only thing that I had a lot of shopping bags.

Sewed the two panels to each side of the stuffed material.
I am so happy with how it looks. It didn't really cost me anything and so when I want to change it I wont be heart broken.

I have been wanting an old window for my extra bathroom since we moved in. Well last Saturday while at a yard sale I found a window for $7.00. I bought it brought it home and cleaned it up. I then made up some vinyl to add to it. This is what the finished product is. Easy, cute and DONE!
I had this post scheduled for Thurs. but I loved it so much I couldn't wait.

First Thing I did was spray painted it black (no picture)

I Then found some material that I liked at DI of course and covered the inside board.

My husbands favorite tool the staple gun. We fought over who got to do this part. Mark won :(

I then used upholstery nails as a way to hang up my necklaces and bracelets. The finished project hung up in my closet. The shelf on the bottom in perfect for my earrings and watches.
Total cost for project is: Cabinet $5
Material $1
Had the black spray paint and the nails.

Soccer

Corbo has been playing soccer this fall and I would have said he loved it but I don't think he did. If you look close you will see me in the picture I tried my hand at coaching. I loved it all but the fact that I was coaching Corbo. He plays so much better for other people and he listens to them. Mark only came to 2 games which made it hard as well. I had Corbo not wanting to play and Dallen kept coming out on the field to ask me questions. Next year I will have to think twice before I say yes.
