Ogden Valley Balloon Festival

 

What a sunday morning. We woke up late and thought we were going to miss the balloon festival like we do every year. Mark has been working a lot and worked on sat so we decided to go on sunday. I love Hot air balloons they just make everyone smile and be happy. We got up there right when the first balloon was getting blown up, perfect timing. Corbin was of course cold the whole time and I told him we would go when the energizer bunny was up in the air, good thing it went up last. We stayed and watched some of the pilots try and drop a sand bag on the target. It was a wonderful Sunday morning.

Kachunga

 

Kachunga and the Alligator Show was at the fair this year and this is what we went back for. We went back to the fair on thur. night and looked at all the boths. We watched some of the Motorcross and sat down to watch Kachunga. It was by far better then I thought. It was a amazing to see the alligator move fast and close it's mouth faster. Kachunga was brave and the show was funny.

Davis County Fair

 

On Thur. Aug. 13th I took the Boys to the Fair. We also took the Neighbor boys to, so 5 boys in total. We watched a magician, played in the Science tent, played in the discovery tent, and the fun zone which is where we got the Balloons. It was hot and one of the neighbor boys got sick so we cut it short after 2 hours and came home. It was a fun day and we went back the same night to see more of the Fair.

Horse Show

 
The Davis County horse show was on Sat. the 8th. Mark and My Mom took my boys took the show while I worked. The boys had a great time and got a medal which they are very pround of. Thank you Mom for the help we couldn't have done it without you.

July 3rd

The on the 3rd of July we went to a rodeo in Panguitch. The boys did mutton busten and they both fell off. I am sure that I will never have to pay for that again or anything more dangerous.

Corbin was in the rabbit chase and he went after the only one that ran which was a good thing. I know that he wanted a bunny really really bad but his mom didn't. Corbin and Malia chased that poor bunny all over the place each taking turns trying to grab it. They both walked away sad and crying when another kid finally caught it.

Dallen and Denver were in a pig chase. Dallen didn't know which one to go for and they were all caught by the time he decided. Denver on the other hand caught a pig. Now we will all put money for pig food so that we can taste a little of the guy in a couple of months. YUM YUM!!!!!

New Room

Sorry about the so many post today, I finally have sometime and wanted to do a little catching up. My boys have been in Panguitch with my parents since we went camping with them. Yes everyone thinks that has been two week, but you forget that I was at girls camp and working until Sunday. When the boys are gone which is when they go for a week or two every summer to Panguitch I like to to big projects. This year I decide to do there bedroom. It was white flat paint looking dirty and needed a paint job. I was sad to see the train and all the track go but the boys have grown out of that and it was coming off. So I tackled there room.


This is there old room and what the bed look like. Now this is there New Room which I still need to add a few things that are not done yet but I love it.


I painted the Bed to match the rest of the stuff in the room. I then took the Lego instructions and framed them. I also got some more selves for all the Lego's they like to create. I love the combo and when and if we move I will be able to take every thing with me,so I didn't put any writing on the walls. There is some vinyl coming that says there names but will post later.
