I loved it and would do it again in a heart beat. I can not believe how much fun I had all my stress was for nothing.
Our first day it was overcast, a little bit of rain and a lot of wind. The wind blew all night long and at 2:30 in the morning I thought, what did I get myself into? My tent was laying flat on us and I needed to be up at 6:00 to get food for breakfast. It was at this time I realized what I am complaining about? I at least have food, the pioneers got 12oz of flour. I fell asleep right after that.
The next day we walk to Martin's Cove and you could feel the spirit as you walk around this corner. It felt like someone shut the door on you. I wanted to turn around a walk back in.It was great.
Now the Third day was the best. We were at the Willy center and Rocky Ridge. We start and the men got called to war and the women had to pull the handcarts by ourselves. It was straight up a hill and I didn't think it was that hard. Now if you ask the men the say they struggled just to walk up it. But the best part was when we reached the top and you saw all the men standing there with their hats off and hands over their hearts you could just feel the love and respect that they had for us.
We finished the women’s pull and went on to cross the sweet water river. The first time was silent and very special. The Third time we crossed our company got ambushed by the Purple company and we were all wet. We stayed and ambushed the two remaining companies it was a lot of fun. There is so much more to trek, this was just some of the highlights.

TREK
9 days and counting. I am getting scared for the fact I don't know what to plan for. Yes they gave me a checklist which I have already packed everything on it, but if you know me you know I like to be prepared. I went to church today and talked to one of the stake leaders and she starts asking me all of these question for trek and I say "I don't know, I am supposed to have my own tent and dutch oven." Apparently my ma and pa are supposed to have gotten a hold of me and they haven't. All I know is that on next wed. at 4:00 am I am meeting at the stake center with all of my stuff.
The other thing with Trek is that My mom thinks that I will look like a Gypsie so to show you all I don't look like a Gypsie I look like a Hill Billie. And I know you all want one of these outfits. I will help make them as soon as I get back.

Yes this is what I will be in for 4 days outside walking in the middle of July. Can we all say that I am going to be HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Father's Day
Here are ten Things I love about DAD!!!

1. Honors Priesthood. He Baptized all of us and I remember him doing his Home Teaching and taking Mom to the Temple. IT was what I looked for in a husband.

2. Always willing to laugh. "I wish I was a rich man" just doesn't look the same when someone else does it, Or When someone yells shark I don't even look now.
3. He is a wonderful Grandpa. I brag all the time about how my Dad and Mom take my kids when ever I need them to and sometime just because they miss them. I love him for his willingness

4. He loves to be my DAD, and loves to do thing as a family
5. Willing to do anything for me(US). He has help me move twice, help clean up my yard and then put down sod. he has been to both of my kids blessing, help get me hay for the horses, and takes us skiing when we come down.

6. Supportive of all of us, but what I admire the most is what he has done for mom. He has help her see her dream come to life and doing what ever he could to help and encourage.
7. Encourage me. There were so many time when I was in High School and had a rough day I would come home to a letter or card on my bed. I knew I could do anything that I wanted to because he was always behind me ready to help or catch me. So many time I want to stop or give up but he kept on Encouraging me.
8.Inspirational. I wish I had a recent picture of him and how great he looks. He has worked so hard to lose that much weight and is continuing working. I look at him and think how strong he is, it is not easy losing weight and he has done just that.
9. Teacher. He is constantly teaching me thing and he teaches Mark, something his dad didn't do. My DAD takes time to talk Mark through the process and then lets Mark finish it, it has help build his self confidence. He is always teaching my Kid instead of just say don't do that, he say this is why we don't do that and teaches them.
10. Patience. With a family like ours he is the one with patience for all of us. In everything he does from grand kids to horses. Not yelling at Mark and I when we got a Flat tire in his truck and lost is Beauty ring for the tire. He was just glad we made up the hill just fine.
I love you Dad and hope you have a great Father's day
I tag everyone with a Dad like mine to Post 10 things they love about there Dad.

Girls Camp
Can you Believed I survived Girls Camp. I wore pink, put a mask on my face, helped with a spa, the girls painted my toes, sang really silly songs, got the giggle pants award and was in a skit. That is not all We got sunburned to first two days, it was 45and rainy the third day and the fourth we woke up to snow. I am still not done, the 2ND day the girls pulled me up 35 feet and let me swing in the trees on the challenge course, I made the girls take a hike to look out point (they didn't think it was that much fun) after I tried to get them to walk .20 of a mile more and you would have thought I chopped off a leg with all there wining.
The 3rd day we did the canoes, I was on a paddle boat in the middle of a lake when it started to down pour. I was so cold and wet I think I stayed that way until I got home. With all that had happen I wouldn't have traded it for the world. I had an blast and I really got to know all the girls. I think I am more prepared for trek but still not looking for to it.
