Calf Creek Falls #2
This is just rock that the boys found they could slide down. I was so sure they would have holes in there pants.
After playing in the water we hike back out. In the end it was 6 mile round trip.
We then spent the next day at Bryce showing them how pretty it was. We also took in a horse ride. Dawn her daughter and I went on a horse ride while Mark and Nate killed a Chicken. This is what Nate was looking forward doing. It was a fun weekend.
Calf Creek Falls
For Labor Day weekend we took some friends down to Panguitch to do some hiking. Nate ,Dawn, and their cute Little kids were such a good sport. This is what we look like starting on the hike. We started out thinking it was 6 miles round trip with about 32 marks.

Half way up we found out that it was only 3 miles round trip with only 15 marks. This made Dawns day because we were standing at marker 9 and she had her 2 year old on her back.

Back to School
Today is Dallen's and Corbo's first day of school. I can't believe I have a 1st and 3rd grader. What am I going to do all day by myself?

Getting Ready for School
On Monday the Boys will be going to school, so I took this week to prepare my house. The boys have to have matching back packs. So I made sure they grabed the right in the Mornings with a little vynly lettering. I am also really bad a keeping any school work that comes home. So I made a spot for this. It is behind my door that leads into my Garage so not everyone will see. The boys will still be proud of the work they do and I won't be in trouble for throwing everything away. The clip broad is for notes or anything that has to be signed and turned back in. I hope this keeps me better organized.

Box Elder County Fair
Most of you don't know or go to your county fair, but up here it is a big deal. They cancel all church activites (scouts,YW/YM, Temple recomand interview). They even postpon school until the Monday after. So I took the boys to see what the Big deal was. The Parade lasted 1 1/2 hour from the time I started seeing floats. The boy actually got tired of collecting candy. We sat with some neighbors so saved us some seats. It was great to go and the Fair is pretty impressive too. I now know what to expect next year.

$2.00 Tuesday
My dear friend and old neighbor called me up and asked if we would spend the day with them at Thanksgiving Point. I said yes if she would spend the Wednesday before with us at the Discovery Gateway. On Wed Aug.11Th we rode front runner down to SLC and spent the day there. NO PICTURES I forgot batteries for the camera. It was fun we stop first at the Platinum then off to Discovery Museum. We spent a good 3 hours there then hurried over to the Church History Museum for the I am a Child of God Exhibit. Finally at 5:00 we were back on front runner headed home.
We then turned around and on the 17Th went down to Thanksgiving Point. It was crazy busy but fun. The boys had fun but I think that they would've had fun doing anything together. We got them $.50 cones and made them set outside while we looked around. We are both to cheap to actually buy anything. Lelia and I made sure we stop in for our $2.00 fudge. We then had lunch at IN-N-OUT. I don't understand what the big deal is with this place. We had a fun few days and are already missing my Friend. Thanks for the invited Bowen Family!
